Narrow Aisle Laser Sanding (VNA)

Laser sanding improves flatness for storage in narrow aisles, especially when the paving was not originally designed for this type of operation.

 

This type of sanding allows the longitudinal and transverse flatness to be brought into conformity in a single operation, meeting all the flatness standards for defined traffic: TR34, DIN 15185, EN 15620. The system is perfectly suited to operate in a working warehouse.

A three-way cart requires a flat floor across the entire width of the wheel. Some hand sanders can create a cupped profile; this prevents the tire from lying flat and can cause lateral shifting and loss of wire guidance. Laser sanding is designed to create a flat profile across the entire width of the wheel, or better yet, across the entire width of the narrow aisle.

Polishing & sanding

For old, abraded or dusty floors, QALIDAL offers suitable solutions to obtain a clean and easy-to-maintain surface.

Flatness grinding for process installation

Flatness is an essential criterion for the proper operation of a warehouse; it directly affects the assembly of the process, the speed and safety of the trucks or robots. Non-compliant flatness can hinder redevelopment projects, can generate additional maintenance costs for trucks or affect the productivity calculations of a warehouse.

Achieving a perfectly flat slab is almost impossible due to the various parameters involved during the various stages of production: Pouring, adjustment, troweling, smoothing and drying. However, high-rise storage or automated systems (AutoStore, Agv, Mini Load, Stacker cranes, Robotic systems, etc.) have high requirements in terms of flatness. QUALIDAL can guarantee its customers a flatness that complies with their storage system by rectifying the new or existing slab. Our sanding machines and special grouts allow us to rectify flatness defects to the millimeter and thus achieve the objectives required by manufacturers and installers of storage systems.
