Qualidal is an independent inspection and consultancy company specialising in industrial paving.
With recognised experience in the profession, Qualidal offers its teams of technicians and engineers specialising in horizontal concrete and, more specifically, industrial paving. Qualidal offers its services for supervising paving projects, project management, quality control, audits, maintenance and calculations.
We operate in France, Europe and Africa from our offices in Paris, Lille and Marseille.
Thanks to our expertise in high-bay warehouses and special handling systems (tri-directional forklift trucks, AGVs, etc.), we can advise the client or operator on the method for creating the paving and the level of flatness to be achieved to ensure the smooth operation of its forklift trucks. We can also provide levelling services for existing paving.
To carry out flatness checks, in partnership with FACE CONSULTANTS (http://face-consultants.com/), we use the latest generation of digital profilographs complying with the most recent standards, in particular EN 15620, TR34 4th edition, DIN 15185 and VDMA.
We also offer a wide range of tests and trials on concrete slabs: core drilling, abrasion testing of the wear layer, moisture testing, slip testing, fibre homogeneity testing, testing on concrete specimens, etc.

Advice & expertise
Project Management Assistance (PMA)
Present throughout the entire lifespan of the paving, we support our clients in the different phases of their project. As a Project Management Assistant (PMA), we assist our clients in establishing their descriptive notice and specifications that perfectly meet their needs. During the construction phase, we ensure the proper completion of the work in compliance with the rules of the art. To do this, we ensure the conformity of the execution file, assist our clients during site meetings and are present on site during the pouring days to check the Quality Assurance Plan. After receipt of the work, we remain available to provide support and advice to our clients for the maintenance and upkeep of the paving.
Audit & Expertise
During its lifetime, a paving may face several problems. At the request of our clients (building operator, project owner, developer), we make our expertise available to evaluate the paving, study the reasons and establish our recommendations regarding the problem encountered… Specialized in paving inspection, we are able to supplement the analysis of the file and the on-site observations with adapted exhaustive tests and surveys.

Today, several technical and logistical solutions can increase the profitability of a warehouse, both in production and in terms of time and workload. Optimizing your warehouse is a major challenge for the success and development of a company. All equipment manufacturers require prior requirements that mainly concern the slab in terms of flatness, load-bearing capacity or even surface characteristics. Flatness
Flatness standards
The flatness of an industrial floor is essential for the safety of people and for optimizing the operation of handling equipment.
The flatness tolerance depends on the intended use of the slab. The various standards differentiate these tolerances based on the storage height and the width of the aisles.
Bulk storage and wide aisles are part of the so-called "Free Movement" (FM) category, we find the NF EN15620-FM, TR34-FM and DIN18202 standards.
Narrow aisle storage and high-level picking are part of the so-called "Defined Movement" (DM) category. We find the standards NF EN15620-DM, TR34-DM, DIN15185 and VDMA.

Flatness control
Flatness control allows us to verify the compliance of the slab with the requirements adapted to the operation of the building. We use a set of instruments that have the latest digital technology. They allow us to continuously measure the profiles
transverse and longitudinal of the raceways, and to accurately determine the areas within and outside tolerance.
Our profilographs allow inspection according to the various standards EN15620, TR34, DIN and VDMA.
3D Scanner Control
The acquisitions made on site allow the generation of a cloud made up of millions of points with an accuracy of <1 mm. The surface data generated and digitally processed make it possible to analyze geometric defects and positional deviations at any point and in all directions. The defect mapping, the altimetric survey and the contour lines provide perfect visibility of the flatness.
This control is suitable to fit all flatness specifications, requirements and standards with high reliability.
Sanding & Repair
Narrow Aisle Laser Sanding (VNA)
The LASER GRINDER sanding system allows for the clean and efficient grinding of flatness to all flatness standards, without any dust projection. It is therefore particularly suitable for work in active warehouses, even with heavy traffic.
For the circulation of trolleys in narrow aisles, laser sanding of the paving allows millimetric rectification of the flatness along the entire length of the trolley's running tracks.
Polishing & sanding
Industrial paving is subject to abrasion which causes the floor to become quickly soiled and generates too much dust during operation.
Thanks to our know-how and our wide range of sanding machines, Qualidal offers a reliable and durable solution for polishing or sanding concrete slabs.
The different sanding grains used provide the floor with the characteristics suitable for long-lasting use and easy maintenance.
Flatness grinding for process
Achieving perfect flatness is almost impossible when laying a slab. However, errors and defects in the flatness of the slab can be corrected by applying a special grout or by sanding the concrete layer out of tolerance.
Our tools are suitable for operating in active warehouses without generating dust.
